Andrea - Volunteer Spotlight

Andrea Budiu has been a volunteer since July 2020. She has been setting up bags and tables plus organizing the FNSP pantry. Andrea is a high school senior who started volunteering at FNSP in July 2020. "After I came in once, I loved it so much I had to come back... I "showed up" every Friday for over a year and I have never met such an enjoyable group of people in my entire life" Andrea's favorite role at FNSP is organizing the pantry. "Seeing a well composed pantry where every box fit where it was supposed to genuinely made my day." Our Kitchen Manager, Joseph, said he has never seen anyone as good at organizing the pantry as Andrea. Andrea is the Captain of her school's volleyball team, does Latin dance and also volunteers for a hospice. She is planning to major in Neuroscience when she goes to college and wants to pursue a career in medicine. Andrea's busy school schedule meant she had to take some time off from volunteering at FNSP. "I am hoping to attend college in the Boston area, so I have hopes of returning to FNSP full time again at some point in the future!"
